Minishoot' Adventures First Playthrough, Part 1
0Minishoot' Adventures is a remarkably well-made and polished mashup of top-down-shooter and Zelda-like metroidvania, made by an incredibly tiny team primarily consisting of 2 developers.
The exploration aspect is really what I looked forward to the most, and there's more than one instance where the game throws progression at the player that feels like it breaks the world wide open again. That being said, the top-down shooter aspect is quite competent as well, and gives the player plenty of categories to play around with upgrading, with free respecs at any time.
I feel like this game at least partially fulfills one of the wishes I've had for years, which is to have something like Operation Logic Bomb but with progression that gets used in multiple places to make the game feel more open and less linear.
