I actually beat Hydra on my 1st attempt as shown in the video, he's no push over though, I guess I got pretty lucky with him.

He's only got 3 types of attacks, he'll slam his head onto the ground (Ouch) but if you're stood far back it can't reach you, his other 2 attacks consist of balls coming out of the ground and moving to your position and lightning that appear where you're stood too so just keep running to avoid both and for the balls move to the side every so often and jump if you have to.

When he's lost over half his HP you may get a reaction command for the horse attack so make use of that whenever you can, I'm not exactly sure at what time you can use this though.
