Kingdom Hearts 3 Re Mind - Vanitas and Terra-Xehanort (Critical Mode) *No Damage*
2I can't believe it, this fight is just annoying as the story fight is and Aqua isn't even level 1. In Sora's case it's the fact that Vanitas and Terranort will defend each other when being attacked. In Aqua's case, it's Ventus being a nuisance and using you as a human shield. I don't know what the deal is but of all the allies in the game, Ventus seems to cling to you the most and just refuses to move more then 2 feet away from causing you to get hit the crossfire. Aqua doesn't suffer as much from both opponent's tag teaming you since she has a natural barrier and her counter is strong with a lot of range. Just pay attention to both enemies and don't get trigger happy with the finisher and you are safe.
This fight doesn't follow the usual rules these Keyblade Graveyard fights do. Normally the intro phase is on a time limit or ends after you do a bit of damage and then if you die afterward, the next phase starts with them at full health. That is not the case here, instead the first phase ends when you bring either of them to around half health and they actually keep what health they lost if you die.
Between the two of them I would much prefer to kill Terranort first but Vanitas gives you far more openings to do damage and is easier to kill. The main reason I would like to kill Terranort first is because he makes Vanitas' DM near impossible to dodge. You have to get so incredibly lucky because if he aggros you during the DM you are screwed. Because of this, your best off trying to Shotlock Vanitas to death so you can avoid the DM entirely.
After two nightmarish phases, the last phase is a total joke. Terranort solo is incredibly easy as Aqua. His DM is free, blocking is easy and by this point he will so little health from all the Barrier Counters that will go down in a minute.
