First of the "Choose your character" fights and like with the main story, these alternate character are at a fixed level so there is no way to be level 1. Obviously I will be doing all of these fights with the other characters since I already did these fights with Sora and there is no difference except for your character.

So I actually ended up having to do this fight twice. The first time I didn't restriction myself on situation commands because I was expecting this fight to be harder then the Demon Towers but man was I wrong. Riku's moveset completely breaks this fight in half and I actually think this might be the easiest non-Sora fight in the entire game. This two combo finishers which sucked against Demon Tower actually connects properly here and he his own Aerial Dive-like move that gives him crazy aerial mobility. End in the I recorded this fight a second time over but restricting myself from pretty much anything but physical attacks like in the main game.

First phase is free since Riku's high attack allows him to force end the fight. Second phase you want to focus on Xigbar since Dark Riku can't touch you in the air. Trying to avoid Dark Riku during the DM is not as important this time since Riku's barrier can't be broken like with Sora so you can still get away easily. The last phase against Dark Riku is pretty much identical to the story except you want to stand further away. You want to wait out the dark claw so it will come out right after you barrier counter Riku so you can quickly Dark Roll out and get two free combos. Also Critical Counter is dumb here since Riku's high damage completely rips him apart.

The only thing to really be careful of is Sora. Ordinarily partners don't raise Revenge Value except maybe specific attacks but it seems to me they forgot to make this little adjustment when making Sora a partner for the DLC. As a result, he adds to the enemy's Revenge Value just as he would if you were controlling him which can get in the way. Sora however doesn't keep to his stats or equipment so he is fixed to level 50 with Kingdom Key and gets Triple Rush, Speed Slash, Magic Flash, Firaga and Curaga.
