Kingdom Hearts 3 Re Mind - Dark Inferno χ (LV1 Critical) *No Damage*
Before starting on the super bosses I need to do the ReMind scenario first. A lot of these fights are repeats from the main game so I will be playing around with different strategies and restrictions. Also I now have every accessory, keyblade and all of them at max level so in some cases I will be doing the reverse and just crushing them with full power Ultima Weapon if it's redundant to do the fight again. I will also be using the non-Sora characters at every opportunity since all but one of the choice fights are exactly the same as the story fights.
Now I want to address the new abilities and keyblades. Quick Slash and Aerial Sweep are good and should always be on. Flash Step has a unique property where it triggers a guard stance if it hits an attack meaning you can use a Reprisal. Radial Blaster is "supposed" to be an area of effect move for mobs but because both the keyblade and the beams are separate hitboxes, the move hits bosses twice and actually deals more damage then some finishers. Then there is Aerial Dive, this is by far the most useful of the new moves but it's also the one you have to be careful of the most. It has INSANE reach, gives a ton of Situation Gauge and its many hitboxes will frametrap bosses between attacks but I realized very quickly that it adds more Revenge Value then other attacks. The other abilities are pretty consistent with Sora's normal combo but if you trigger an Aerial Dive you will often cause an enemy to break out 1 attack early so be careful. Last Charge is super fast and has low Revenge Value but its damage is pitiful, especially against bosses that resist Neutral/Light damage. Against humanoid bosses it's great but anywhere else, it might not be worth it. In situations like in NG+ where Ultima has 8 strength and 3 magic at the start, its actually weaker then your stock finisher because of your low magic its poor damage output. Just use Speed Slash whenever your not in a fight with a humanoid boss since its only weakness now is its high Revenge Value.
Dark Inferno X is the first fight and it's "somewhat" of a repeat. He is a story fight instead of a super boss so he was majorly toned down on stats and he never goes beyond the first phase. Since I went pretty hard in the Battlegate version, I decided to restrict myself this time. Unlike the main story where I used nothing but Kingdom Key in heavily restricted fights, I will instead be using nothing but Oathkeeper and Oblivion just to keep with the theme of the update. Despite both keyblades being max level, I am still well under the damage floor of 36 so I am dealing minimal damage.
