Kingdom Hearts II FM [PS3] Commentary #137, Mushroom XIII No. 1, 3, 4, 6

Previously, after completing the game, Sora maxed out his Forms and defeated Sephiroth. Now, the party is going to get to work on satisfying each member of Mushroom XIII. They have already satisfied No. 2 and No. 5 in video #127, so those Mushrooms will be skipped. In this video, they will take care of No. 1, No. 3, No. 4, and No. 6.
The party will start at the very beginning with Mushroom XIII No. 1. This black fungus appears in Memory's Skyscraper on the World that Never Was, but only after you have completed the game.
To get to No. 1, the party lands at the Brink of Despair on the World that Never Was (time 0:52). They head south from there to Memory's Skyscraper (time 1:19).
No. 1 is located on the pavement in front of the skyscraper. Jiminy's goal is to score 70 points. Sora has thirty seconds to deal as many blows as possible, but there is a catch. Sora must first throw it off guard with successful Reversal and Quick Slide reaction commands. For this one, I am using Wisdom Form and Fenrir for its Negative Combo. Finishing Plus will help, as well. Quick Slide only appears for a fraction of a second. What helped for me was to mash triangle as rapidly as possible until Sora gets a Quick Slide. Sticking close seems to help, too. RIght after the Quick Slide, nail No. 1 with a combo of shots in Wisdom Form. You should be able to score about nine blows each time. If you do not manage to stun No. 1, it will charge at you. This doesn't cause damage, but it does stun you for a moment.
Fortunately, this Mushroom is close to a save point, so it is pretty easy to go beam up to the Gummi Ship to preserve Sora's Drive Gauge.
After a few tries, Sora successfully scores over 70 points (time 14:43).
Afterwards, he checks out No. 1's entry in the Journal (time 15:34).
Next, the party prepares for Mushroom XIII No. 3 at Beast's Castle (time 17:04). Sora puts on a Draw Ring and has three Draw abilities equipped.
After beaming up to the Gummi Ship (time 17:53), the party lands at the Parlor in Beast's Castle (time 18:14). Sora also puts on the Follow the Wind keychain, which gives him another Draw. Setting the Field Camera to Manual in the Config menu will help, too.
The party heads out through the Entrance Hall (time 19:02). Passing through the Courtyard (time 19:16), they go south to the Bridge (time 19:28).
On the Bridge, they challenge No. 3 (time 19:56). No. 3 glides through the air and litters the bridge with balls. The balls do not stick around for very long. When he puts on a burst of speed, he will drop more balls. Maxed-out Quick Run and Glide can both help Sora keep up with him. The goal is to pick up at least 450 balls. The more Draws Sora has, the easier this will be.
After a few attempts, Sora successfully picks up over 450 balls (time 28:41).
In the Parlor, Sora prepares for No. 4 in the Land of Dragons (time 32:08). He puts on Fatal Crest for its Berserk Charge.
Done in Beast's Castle, the party beams up to the Gummi Ship (time 32:46). They land in the Throne Room in the Land of Dragons (time 32:58). They go out through the Antechamber (time 33:12) to the Palace Gate (time 33:53).
Out at the Palace Gate, they find Mushroom XIII No. 4 (time 34:04). Wisdom Form is the go-to Form again. No. 4 will create tons of duplicates. The object is to defeat at least 85 clones before Sora gets hit. Berserk Charge is not necessary, but it is helpful. While Sora's MP is charging, Berserk Charge prevents delaying combo finishers from being used.
Sora achieves the objective against No. 4 the first time. Not too hard with Wisdom Form.
The party then beams back up to the Gummi Ship (time 37:02). For No. 5, they land at the Lock in Olympus Coliseum (time 37:15). They head out to the Underworld Caverns: Atrium (time 37:48).
In the Atrium, they challenge Mushroom XIII No. 5 (time 37:56). This is fairly easy in Final Form. Sora must defeat all the enemies within 45 seconds. This is not too hard with the large AOE of Final Form's spells, especially Thundaga. It can also be done in normal form with Stitch's help.
After a few tries, Sora ekes out a time under 45 seconds (time 44:36).
