Previously, after completing the game and maxing out his forms, Sora began duelling with the members of Mushroom XIII. So far, he has satisfied No. 1 - No. 6. In this video, he will continue with No. 7, No. 8, and No. 9.

No. 7 is over in Twilight Town's Tunnelway, so Sora left off in the nearby Sunset Station. High Magic is recommended, so Sora borrows Donald's Shadow Archive and Shadow Archive+. Sora already has Finishing Plus equipped.

When ready, Sora heads through Sunset Terrace (time 1:16) to the Tunnelway (time 1:36).

Mushroom XIII No. 7 is in the Tunnelway's large open area (time 1:53). Sora will have to defeat No. 7 while avoiding its attacks. It will attack relentlessly. To satisfy it, Sora must defeat it within 10 seconds. My strategy here is to reflect its attacks.

After a couple of practice attempts, Sora takes care of No. 7 (time 4:19). The party then checks out No. 7's entry in the Journal (time 5:13).

The party beams back up to the Gummi Ship (time 6:35). No. 8 is at the Tower, so they land at the Tower: Entryway (time 6:42). Berserk Charge is extremely helpful for this rat-fink, so Sora uses the Fatal Crest Keychain. Donald's Fantasia/Comet Limit will be quite helpful, too, for juggling No. 8 at certain times. Sora needs many aerial abilities equipped, particularly Horizontal Slash and Aerial Spiral.

Mushroom XIII No. 8 is stuck in the ground outside the Tower (time 7:31). As soon as Sora pulls No. 8 out, he must keep it from touching the ground. This is a juggling minigame. And it is quite insane because No. 8 has several movement patterns that can screw up Sora's aerial combos. To satisfy it, Sora must land a whopping 85 blows. Yes, this is a diabolical challenge.

Before pulling No. 8 out, Sora casts Curaga to get Berserk Charge going. This will allow him to juggle No. 8 with aerial combos, including rapid Horizontal Slashes, which rack up the hit counter. No. 8 has a few troublesome moves, including darting to the side and dropping suddenly toward the ground. When it darts away suddenly, or when Sora's MP refills, Donald's Comet Limit can be used to juggle it just long enough for Sora to get back to it. Be sure to queue up the Comet limit in the Limit menu for immediate use, or disable all other limits.

If Stitch's MP refills were 100% reliable, I would totally recommend blasting No. 8 with Thundaga combos.

After numerous attempts, Sora finally satisfies No. 8 (time 46:22). The party reviews No. 8's entry in the Journal (time 47:57).

The party then beams up to the Gummi Ship (time 48:30). No. 9 is at the Castle Gate in Radiant Garden, so the party lands in Merlin's House (time 48:49). Sora prepares beforehand by turning off MP restoration abilities: MP Rage, MP Haste, and MP Hastera. He keeps Fatal Crest equipped for Berserk Charge.

The party heads out through the Borough (time 49:31). They go through the Borough (time 49:48) to the Castle Gate (time 49:59).

Mushroom XIII No. 9 is in the Castle Gate, where the party faced Demyx (time 50:12). No. 9 will be spinning at the start of the duel. The goal is to keep him spinning and land at least 75 hits. Berserk Charge is the easiest way to handle this one. In normal form, Sora can blast the mushroom with Horizontal Slash, using the square button. This is also a good job for Wisdom Form.

After a trial run, Sora soon satisfies No. 9 (time 51:16). It is actually not very difficult to take this one all the way up to 99 hits. The party also lands the Premium Mushroom wand for Donald.

On the way back to Merlin's House, Donald reaches Level 65 (time 53:58). He gains increases to Strength and Max AP.

Next, the party will conclude the Mushroom XIII duels with No. 10 - No. 13.
