Ariel Perien is a gnome from Adessa who came to Kulrikon in search of an ancient artifact. Her assistant is missing and she's stuck in the swamps all alone. She offers to pay if you'll go into the castle of Bonnlach with her to help find the artifact. The castle is fairly big with lots of loot and side areas to explore and whilst in there I hit level 37. This enables me to reach the next destiny tier "Sorcerer" which improves damage, increases mana perks and enhances the Ice Blink ability. That will actually be the last tier I reach before hitting the level cap of 40. It means I won't get the final tier of Sorcery, at least not in this main game build, though I'll re-spec a couple of times in the post-game for some trophies. If I'd put the points in to reach the top tier of sorcery I'd have lots of redundant skills I'd never use and my bow wouldn't be nearly as good. So it was a trade off, a kick ass bow that's useful throughout the whole game, complete with piercing, poison, physical and bleeding damage or an extra 5% elemental damage, slightly more mana and a randomly spawned twin fighter (when I already have a maxed out Fae Gorta) late in the game. I'd go with the bow every time personally.
After the quest I return to Mel Senshir to offload inventory, then just for fun go to the House of Sorrows so I can make a long journey through Klurikon all the way to the next House of Sorrows faction quest.
