We play as Prince Austin Lyle Forester, the son of King John Alfred Forester ( the protagonist of King's Field 1) who, after re-acquiring the Moonlight Sword with the help of Alexander/Aleph from the island of Melenat, has been driven mad and evil over the following 5 years.
Now come of age, it's time for Lyle to break the seal placed over the castle by Alexander and confront his father, bringing peace back to the land of Verdite.
