Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards: Part 2: Pop Star 2 (All 3 Shards)
(Reuploaded)
As evidently shown in the title screen, Kirby is building up a unique selection of friends to aid him on his adventure in this game.
----------
Pop Star 2 is only the second level in the game, and it already has one of the most ethereal I have ever heard not just in this game, but in all of Kirby music.
Try experimenting with more Ability Combos. Kirby has a really funny one where combining Ice with Spark lets him turn into a refrigerator that can spawn as much healing food as you want him to.
He is the sole fully playable character, but other friends will still show up from time to time in different levels to lend him a hand. Waddle Dee in Pop Star 2 will control a gondola that you'll need to cross a huge gap with. Just make sure you catch a Crystal Shard underneath its path along the way.
----------
At the end of this level, a young human girl name Adeleine was busy painting her latest masterpiece.
But then this "masterpiece" turned into Dark Matter and promptly possessed the painter girl. When Kirby, Ribbon, and Waddle Dee ran into her, it was too late as Adeleine now had some pretty scary eyes.
----------
This girl has the power to bring her painting to life, and with her busy being possessed, she's gonna sic them on you.
These living paintings are a selection of enemies and bosses from Kirby's Dream Land 3, including the Ice Dragon and even a painting of Dark Matter, himself.
But then, the Possessed Adeleine gets too angry at you beating up her monsters and tries to tackle you down, herself.
You've basically already won at this point. If you touch her with any of your attacks, or even just let her bump into you, it will be enough to knock the Dark Matter out of her.
----------
So then... Kirby, Ribbon and Waddle Dee gained another Crystal Shard.
Adeleine soon afterwards woke up from her possession. Her kind eyes have returned, and she too, then wanted to travel with the others to find the missing Crystal Shards.
This is the cutest team I have ever seen, but it's not quite complete, yet…
