I'm wanting to show that Chilly is underrated in general, and this provides the way to do it for good measure. If people think I'm doing this just because of WaddlerD providing blatant misinformation about Chilly, I've had the idea of handling Chilly in mind for a while for his borderline Mighty Glacier/Melee Tornado status but never got around to it. I can certainly point out how Sir Kibble, who I did a sub-8/no healing run with, has NOTHING to do with RoahmMythril OR WaddlerD. Chilly is simply underrated in general and I get to call out how everybody is focusing on using lunge moves instead of going with refinement that allows for improved damage output.

In particular, WaddlerD calls Ice Storm unsafe and generally useless. I would not call a move that deals 20 damage per hit useless even if the resulting burst damage certainly isn't on par with Burning Leo's Inferno, and while it's true that Ice Storm doesn't provide invincibility, it still provides an attack capable of clashing off non-star projectiles while having solid range to make it reliable for its job and general setup.

Chilly has reliably solid anti-air because it's surprisingly controllable for its power. That sells me on him being decent, not the worse than freaking Buggsy character that people have been claiming him to be.

I will give WaddlerD credit for coming up with the aspect of creating ice block traps even if I do that myself too, I'll get back to that point, and I can at least point out how he also thinks to use Ice Suction on certain attacks of Computer Virus (the Dragon's scratching, most notably) which I didn't think to do even hindsight tells me that bothering to do so would have been risky for VERY sketchy ability to add 50 damage if I could have mixed in 3 Ice Storm hits well enough. Points like that do become welcome to remind me that I have a bad habit of missing basic points because they come TOO naturally to me, because I missed the mines point even though I have been cheering at Son Goku in Dragon Ball Super making use of energy mines for a reason. It's something I would have liked to work on to foster growth from the likes of the clients from the disabilities daycare center I have talked about over that place's involvement of a Genki Girl staff worker.

Of course, by that same token, I get tired of hubris that supports mob rule instead of inviting different points. When WaddlerD wants to get involved in that, well, RoahmMythril is certainly far from the first case of involving tyranny of the people that I've had to put up with, just that him and his clique is the most flagrant to date from his shocking and even outright endangering apathy about my deceased parents' abandoned house.

...right. So the No Damage Run with Chilly. I can say that while Mr. Frosty, Jukid, Heavy Lobster, and Meta Knight all involve their concerns, Computer Virus is the highlight of this whole idea. While I am not concerned with any sort of speedrunning and thus those often irksome Defend commands won't hurt me at all for the purposes of this, there's still the matter of CV's attacks. All 3 forms can use Star Attacks, which Ice Storm definitely will not block off, and this is the kicker, because Chilly's Block, even though it looks like it should stop more attacks from even dealing chip damage, doesn't. I prefer to go for prioritizing blocking the Star Attacks because those are, of course, harder to react to and the Magician and Dragon can also do fire breath attacks that are completely abrupt and require the Block, but anything else is going to require Ice Storm and guarantees needing reaction to stave off.

The Knight is the biggest concern, since the Magician isn't durable and thus has 2 chances, assuming first strike in the first place, to cause any problems, and the Dragon's heavy wind attack, while concerning because it needs Ice Storm to block off, isn't overly hard to react to. The Knight can use axe swings or knife showering to force the transition, and both require active reaction to stave off well enough if you are relying on the Block for the Knight's Star Attack. Thankfully, the Knight has no attacks other than the Star Attack that could force the Block, so I could gambit on him not giving me reason to stop using Ice Storm, although I will say the Defend command right after the Star Attack would have reduced my odds of this working out for the Knight's next attack. Just a heads up for anybody who comes up with a similar idea.

I'm not going to say Chilly is as capable as Bonkers, because he isn't, but when he manages selling points that even allows for a No Damage Computer Virus fight to be more based on skill and less based on luck, while still having clear anti-air at that, he definitely has something going for him.
