Info on the game:
"Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy" is an open world platform game developed by Naughty Dog (also known from the PS1 Crash Bandicoot games) and published by Sony Computer Entertainment.
It is (to my knowledge) a playstation-exclusive and exists in version for: PS2, PS3, PS Vita and PS4.
The game is set on a fictional planet incorporating fantasy elements, which consists of small and not very technologically-advanced settlements, surrounded by various environments and abandoned ruins. One major hub is Sandover Village, home of the (two) protagonist(s).
We play as Jak, a silent 15-year-old boy, and his best friend, Daxter (on our shoulder), a loudmouth who is transformed at the beginning of the game into a fictional hybrid of an otter and a weasel, called an ottsel.
Eco-types and their (temporary) powers:
- Green: restores health
- Blue: increase speed; breaks boxes; attracts blue and green eco when within a certain range; attracts orbs and scout flies when within a certain range; activates some machinery
- Red: increase damage output
- Yellow: shoot ranged bursts of energy through Jak's hands
- Dark: kills you (no joke)
