For a little bit of history, this is a title in the Sonic the Hedgehog series, a series that did not translate well to 3D and which has not performed so well in the last couple of years. Originally, Sega began development for a game called Sonic Crackers or Sonic Studium as a little bit of ROM hacking will tell you. It was to be released on the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive and featured Sonic and Tails. It was unreleased and the general concept of the game became Knuckles' Chaotix. This game doesn't feature Sonic himself as the main character, but rather Knuckles the Echidna, you know, from Sonic the Hedgehog 3 which was actually a great game. The main problem about this one is that they changed the gameplay a lot from the original series and it doesn't control quite naturally. Once you get used to the controls, it actually gets better and is playable with some level of entertainment, but never as much as the true classics that came before it. I just wish I would've been better at the bonus stage and a little bit faster in the level. Because of the YouTube time limit of 10 minutes, I decided to completely remove the tutorial occurring after the screen goes black when you discover your partner.
