The CTV-4 is launched on its third mission and second non-test mission. It docks with a previously launched lander, the unmanned Osprey Mining Probe. Once docked, the CTV-4's upper stage boosts the assembled spacecraft to a Low Minmus Orbit.
Once in orbit around Kerbin's farther moon, the Osprey undocks for a future landing procedure. It will extract ore from the surface and fly back to the Frontier space station to refine into useable fuel before returning for more.
After deploying the probe, the CTV-4 docks with the Frontier minmus station, a single module orbital station containing room for four kerbals and an ISRU refinery. Two engineers enter the station, and the CTV-4 will return to Kerbin.
