Guide for Kula's basic tools and combos to get you started playing The King of Fighters XIV. These combos may not be optimized, but range from beginner to intermediate in difficulty and should give you a head start in learning this character. Feedback and questions are welcome!

Footnotes:
*1 = Both EX supers do the same amount of damage, so use whichever you prefer. However, qcfx2 AC doesn't properly connect in the corner, so always use qcfx2 BD in the corner.
*2 = wait until opponent falls to their knees. Midscreen this will give you the perfect spacing for the EX super to fully connect. Doesn't work in the corner.
*3 = input the dp motion as a hcb~f motion in order to make the Climax cancel much easier.
*4 = Timing is somewhat strict in getting the qcfx2 BD to land all three hits. Listen to when Kula says "Soree" during her qcfx2 P super. As soon as that voice clip is over, cancel the move.

Additional notes:
My baby! Although Kula lost some combo tools for KOFXIII, she still has a lot of ways to convert into decent chunks of damage, especially with one, three, or four meter. The problem arises when you have two or five meter to play with, because her EX supers are really finnicky. You have to land all three hits of them in order to make them worth the extra meter, and landing that in more complex combos can be difficult. So you'll see there aren't many shown. I did learn a few tricks to guarantee all three hits, but they'll take some practice.

b, d, f = back, down, forward respectively
qcf = quarter circle forward (d, df, f)
qcb = quarter circle back (d, db, b)
hcf = half circle forward (b, db, d, df, f)
hcb = half circle back (f, df, d, db, b)
dp = dragon punch (f, d, df)
rdp = reverse dragon punch( b, d, db)
xx = cancel
arrow = do immediately after unless specified
- = follow up
(n) = cancel after nth hit of the move
