Guide for Zarina's basic tools and combos to get you started playing The King of Fighters XIV. These combos may not be optimized, but range from beginner to intermediate in difficulty and should give you a head start in learning this character. Feedback and questions are welcome!

Footnotes:
*1 = Use the hcb~f shortcut, so you can just do a qcf K for the super.
*2 = Use the f~hcf shortcut, so you can just do a hcf BD for the super.

Additional notes:
These guides aren't so quick anymore :/ Zarina has a lot to show for herself, with plenty of screen positioning specific combos, making it potentially difficult to judge when to use what combo in the middle of a match. I tried my best to break it down as simple as possible. I'm pretty sure these can be optimized; I am only so creative. If you want to master Zarina and want to squeeze a little more damage out of her, please use this guide as a stepping stone.

Her Climax cancels are a little awkward and qcfx2 P and AC kinda suck with damage scaling, but are the only practical Climax Cancel candidates. Because of this her damage falls a little at higher meters. Note that when do you Climax Cancel the qcfx2 AC, as long as the first hit of qcfx2 AC connects, the rest will as it stays active even after being canceled.

I made my life more difficult trying to use the dancing super so much in her 2 Bar combos. Doing more research showed me that the flower super, while it does scale a little worse than the dance super, will still work better sometimes. Try both supers when you practice these combos. I'm not perfect ;_;

I don't feel too comfortable with Zarina on point because I really feel she needs meter to be effective. She has a lot of Max mode potential and f. B is super easy to hitconfirm, so 2nd or 3rd seems best for her.
