L.A. Noire - killing Schroeder (Upon Reflection)
5Finally comes the day when Cole's hazing goes too far...
0:00 - for some reason this particular way of bumping Schroeder "really" kills him and does not activate the usual post-brawl cutscene. It might have something to do with the extra cramped space he ends up in.
0:54 - going to check out Schroeder's apartment now makes the cutscene start like usual. Schroeder's ghost greets you at the door before disappearing afterwards. Cole enters brawler mode as usual, but there is no enemy for him to fight (other than perhaps his own guilty conscience) and he just gets stuck.
1:54 - you can end the brawling mode at will after doing this glitch, unlike normal, but this still doesn't mean you are able to examine clues in the room. So you're still stuck.
2:14 - if you auto-save and load the game again after killing Schroeder, the game still remembers that this character has kicked the bucket. So when you get to his apartment, you'll find him just lying there. This is an ex-Schroeder!
2:45 - if you examine the door, the fight sequence starts. This time Schroeder's corpse is present, although its location is different, and it then starts bleeding profusely. This definitely won't look good in the record...
