Since the interior of the tunnel is done, we keep all the items in our Shulker Boxes as they were taking up space. We head back to the storage room and throw everything into the sorting system!

For our next task, we will need lots of redstone so we head into the refugee shelter to trade with villagers. We add an iron door to the front of the vault for more security. Linking up the iron door to the existing circuit inside the vault is not so straightforward, and we spend a bit of time figuring out how to do so!

Eventually, we use Redstone Repeaters to pass the current through the obsidian wall of the vault, so it can reach the iron door. We harvest some crops growing in the vault garden, as we want the melons to grow symmetrically opposite the pumpkins. To ensure that nothing grows on the middle grass block, we use Bone Meal to generate tall grass there.

At the end of the episode, we start work on an item locking mechanism for the outside of the door! This mechanism will allow us to use certain items as "keys" to open or close the door. We install a dropper circuit so the item entities can be filtered by hoppers later on.
