We fly around the forests to fill in all the gaps in our large map! After returning to our base, we decide to explore the gravelly mountains that are slightly outside the western border of our map. So that we do not lose our way, we craft a new map for the region that we are exploring!

After entering our world, we take flight and head towards a large gap at the bottom of our map! The sun is setting, so we set down our bed on top of a swamp tree to rest. In the morning, we spot a cow that is climbing up a similar tree! We go closer to take a look before flying over a birch forest!

Over the birch forest, we see some floating trees, but otherwise nothing too unusual! After filling in one hole in the map, we start to fly over to the other hole that seems to be over an ocean! We pass by some interesting rock formations at the edge of the birch forest, and we stop to explore further.

After lighting up a small cave and the area beneath a floating cliff, we continue towards the east! We come to the edge of a lukewarm ocean and begin flying over the uncharted area. In the ocean beneath us, we see some colourful coral reefs!

Later, we land on Azalea Island for a brief rest. Since we had visited the island to the north before, we fly over to it to add it to our map! Then, we return to the base and harvest some crops from the small farm along the coast.

At our base, we begin for a new adventure into the chunks beyond our map! We pick up an empty map, along with some paper, sugar canes, and the cartography table. These will allow us to create a map for the new area! We swim around with the axolotls as we harvest the sugar canes around the stream!

Seeing a floating birch tree, we decide to chop it down completely and plant more birch saplings! The sky is turning dark and it is time to go to bed. But first, we craft a new double chest so we can set up camp when we arrive at the gravelly mountains!

In the morning, we harvest some honeycomb and pick up some sticks before taking off! We fly towards the eastern border of the map where we had first sighted the gravelly mountains. Once we go outside of our map, we look around in the mountain biome for a good location to set up our camp!

Eventually, we decide to place our double chest on a patch of stone! We also put down our cartography table and begin to fill in our map. We soon realise that we had forgotten to bring more empty maps with us!

The maps would allow us to keep copies of every unique map generated as we zoom out the map to the fullest! Luckily, with the Elytra, getting back to our base is not an issue! Once we arrive at our chests, we pick up the maps that we need, as well as a spyglass that may come in useful.

Then, we fly back to the gravelly mountains! When we reach our cartography table, we keep expanding the map's area until we reach the limit! This ensures that our new map joins up nicely with the other one. We travel around the area to map out the entire mountain range!

At the edge of a mountain, we see a giant ravine in the nearby plains! There is also a cave here, which we are itching to explore! Once we have filled in the new map up to the western border with the other map, we return to the mountain to venture into the caves.

A zombie villager approaches us from the dark, but it is accompanied by a creeper and a regular zombie! We accidentally hit it with the bow as we are aiming for the creeper. Oops! Anyway, as we have seen in the caves around our deepslate base, zombie villagers are not that rare!

After coming to a dead end, we decide to leave the cave behind and fly towards the base! We want to keep some copies of our map here in case we come to an untimely end in the caves. As we had left our empty maps at the gravelly mountains, we have to craft some new ones from scratch!

We return to the gravelly mountains and start making our way deeper into the caves! As we travel down, we create some stairs so we can still get back up, and also mine some coal. At the bottom, we ‌find another opening to the plains!

The cave system here appears to be quite extensive! We light up the branches of the caves as we run past them. We are looking to go deeper into the ground for rare resources! After a creeper dies to a skeleton's arrow, we find a cool new music disc!

Finding another exit to the surface by the river, we see some squids and pick up a couple of ink sacs! Red-coloured stones in the distance catch our eye, and we fly over to discover a ruined portal! We decide to end the episode here as we are running short on time.
