Late-Game Minecraft 250 :: Rare Deepslate Ore Variants
3Heading back to the caves under the mountain, we find another large unexplored section! It leads to multiple lava lakes, as well as many diamond veins! We also find our second deepslate emerald ore block, as well as a cave with several deepslate diamond and deepslate copper veins! Wow!
We pick up our Fortune III pickaxe and mine some coal in the ravine! It is turning to night so we place down our white bed and sleep. The next morning, we craft more torches and fly over to the gravelly mountains where we have set up some chests!
After emptying our inventory and our Shulker boxes, we fly back to the plains to explore the caves further! We light up some of the small caves near the surface. Hearing a skeleton, we look around for it, and eventually find a small air pocket hidden inside the stone!
We are quite sure that there are still some unexplored caves in the area! We return to the place where we had trapped the zombie holding a glow ink sac, and look around for any dark areas. We hear another zombie through the walls, but we are not sure whether it is truly a different one!
As we explore the caves, we mine some copper ore as we still need a lot of the orange metal for our base! We see a dark cave leading upwards from a big chamber, but when we build a staircase up to it, we see that the cave is actually quite small.
A skeleton shoots at us, and we get quite excited as we might have found a new cave section to explore! Alas, the skeletons have simply spawned on a dark spot of a cave that we had already explored. We add more torches to the caves to prevent spawning!
Behind a waterfall, we finally see a dark section of the caves! It is also quite deep as we see some deepslate deposits. We follow the tunnels to the bottom of a rather narrow ravine! At a dead end, we stop to store our items in a Shulker box, craft more torches and sleep to skip the night.
Exploring the ravine further, we find a wide cave that opens up to a lava lake! Right beside the lake, we see some deepslate iron and emeralds on the floor! Further ahead, we find many ores in the caves, including several diamond veins.
One branch of the cave leads to a pool of lava, and we see many different ores on the walls and the floor! We cannot bear the thought of mining the ores since it looks so pretty! In here, we can see almost every single ore available in the overworld right next to each other! Wow!
Back at the main chamber, we light up a dead end and slay a zombie before mining the deepslate emerald ore! If it had fallen into lava, we would be very upset, but luckily the block is on top of some deepslate iron! There are many lava lakes in the area, and we carefully manoeuvre around them.
We return to the ravine and swim up a waterfall to get to the top, where we find more unlit caves! A creeper falls down beside us, but we manage to run away before it explodes. Reaching a dead end, we organise our inventory and stock up on coal and torches!
Hearing a zombie's moans, we look around for mobs as we run around the caves! We find some dripstone formations but the cave leads to a dead end. Down another cave, we find two skeletons and a zombie in a hole below us! After mining some copper, we go down and see a small opening into another cave.
After making the opening bigger, we enter the caves and find deepslate and dripstone! At the end of the cave, we see two veins of deepslate diamonds and a vein of deepslate copper! What an incredible find! We do not want to risk losing our diamonds in lava, so we block off a nearby lava flow.
In total, we find 7 deepslate diamond ore blocks, as well as 7 deepslate copper ore blocks! We store these blocks safely in our Shulker box before continuing. Even though we are underground, we still sleep in our bed out of habit, based on the time shown in the clock!
Returning to the big chamber, we mine away some copper to reveal emerald ore underneath! We head back to where we had found the deepslate emerald ore to mine one block of deepslate lapis lazuli. Then, we go back to the cave with many ores where we find another large dark cave!
Not sure how we missed the cave the first time we were here, but it seems like there is quite a lot to explore still! At an intersection of the caves, we craft some torches before ending the episode for the day. We are a bit cautious as we are afraid of creepers sneaking up on us!
