Late-Game Minecraft 351 :: Transporting Bees
Along the coast, we find another small cave that is unlit! After lighting it up, we decide to move some bees over to Azalea Island as there are many flowers there, but very little mobs! Towards the end of the episode, we head down into the mob farm and start work on a proper water elevator for the exit.
We begin the episode on top of a spruce tree! After chopping it down, we slay some drowned in the ocean and find a copper ingot. Flying up into the air to look at our base, we find a small hole that leads to an unlit cave! Luckily, there are no creepers here.
It seems like many Endermen have made this cave their home! We dig away the stray grass and gravel blocks. We also dig away some sand and sandstone before placing down a stone layer below the floating sand! We do not want the cave to collapse and ruin the coastline just like the one that we found yesterday.
Sealing the entrance to the cave, we pick up some spruce saplings! We harvest some cactus and head indoors to keep our blocks. In the basement, we mine some dripstone! Heading to the mob farm, we look up the shaft and see that it is night! We sleep before slaying some slimes and trading with our villager.
While waiting for the cleric to restock, we sort out the items in our chests! Trading gives us experience which is very useful to mend our tools with. We also buy some redstone from the cleric! Back in the basement, we harvest some sugar canes.
We realise that we had not replanted the tree that we had chopped down! We pick up two more saplings and place them down on the podzol. Harvesting the honeycomb from the beehives, we decide to pick up two bee nests and bring them to Azalea Island by boat!
During our journey to the island, something pulls our boat down! We jump into the water to see what is going on and find an underwater ravine. Some dolphins have also spawned in the water! We reach the island and place down the bee nests in the flower forests.
We explore the island and look for our pigs to see how they are doing! We get stuck in a cave however, oops! We use a rocket to fly out before returning to the base. In the ocean, we slay some drowned! We get a massive speed boost from a dolphin and use it to swim back home.
After our holiday on Ginger Island, we clear some glow berry vines in the basement! We switch some stone stairs to slabs and sleep for the night. Definitely, there is a lot more that we want to do in the basement, but we are hampered by our lack of dripstone blocks!
It might be time to start a dripstone farm! We fix our stone staircase and head outside, where we see that a new beehive has spawned! We place it down with all the others in the forest before breeding the bees. We see a bee taking some damage from the ocean, oh no!
Heading up into the attic, we pick up some deepslate! We place the blocks in our Shulker box before taking the stonecutter along with us. Down in the mob farm, we start placing stone in the corners of the shaft, since they will not be seen!
We are not sure what blocks we want to use for the entrance and exit shafts of the mob farm, but deepslate seems like a good idea! We mine away some deepslate before building upwards. We travel back to our attic through a shortcut in the roof to get more stone!
After placing some stone in the shaft to fill in the space, we head back down into the mob farm! We realise that we need other kinds of blocks for the walls and the floor of the room! Heading back to the base, we fall asleep on our luxurious bed before retrieving the blocks from the attic.
Looking around for more blocks, we take out a chest and a block of soul sand! Along with some andesite, diorite and quartz, we go to the mob farm. We trade with our villager before placing our blocks down! We decide to use deepslate tiles instead of polished deepslate for the walls of the shafts.
