Exploring our surroundings, we head to the jungle that we had seen a few days ago! We collect some vines, cocoa beans, bamboo, and melon slices! We also find a naturally generated azalea tree, and make a new map! Later, we the taiga that we had seen, and we realise that it is actually a grove!

After crafting some paper, we keep the rest of the sugar canes in the chest! We go through the forest to get to the river. Diving into the water, we place down our acacia boat! We cross the river as it starts raining. The land here is covered in leaves and vines!

We see some floating leaves in the air as they start to decay! How strange. Using the F3 debug screen, we check the biome and see that we are indeed in a jungle! The terrain is a little difficult to navigate, so we get into our boat and row across the water!

Climbing up the slope, we spot a clump of bamboo plants! We harvest some vines with our shears, and some cocoa beans with our axe! There is a large hole in the ground that probably leads to some caves. Checking the debug screen again, we see that we are in a sparse jungle!

Further up the hill, we see an azalea tree! Wow! There must be some lush caves underneath the jungle. Some of the leaves of the tree are not linked to it! We destroy them and collect some azalea bushes! It seems like a nice spot to set up our cartography table.

We fill in a blank map as the sun sets! Harvesting more cocoa beans, we sleep in our white bed before cutting down a bamboo plant. Then, we prepare to leave as we realise that our inventory is full! After some contemplation, we decide that crafting a chest would be a better idea.

Dumping some items into the chest for more free space, we zoom out the map that we have created with the paper! We make copies of every map as they have unique identification numbers. Once we have the final map, we leave the rest of the maps in the chest and take back our items!

We take a few more cocoa beans with us before carefully going down the cliff! We place down our boat and begin to row. Suddenly, we get the feeling that we might have left something important behind! We head up the hill again, but we had only left the maps in the chest!

Oh well! To avoid a wasted trip, we consider taking another copy of the new map with us, but we soon realise that we can easily make more copies. We head down the cliff again and quickly row away as we hear a trident clanging in the water!

Making our way back to the landing site, we keep away our mapmaking materials! We also make a copy of our new map. Then, we climb up the hill to return to our savannah campsite! It is a long trek. When we reach, we plant down our bamboo!

Soon, we realise that the cocoa beans have to be planted on jungle logs! Dang it. At least the jungle is quite close to our position! We craft coal blocks for more chest space before cooking some salmon on the campfire. Then, we sleep for the night!

In the morning, we chop down some trees and continue cooking salmon! We gather enough saplings to replant the trees. We also organise the items in our double chests! Heading down to the farming area, we harvest some wheat and breed the cows. We also chop down the acacia trees!

We start making our way towards the spruce trees! The water bucket protects us from fall damage as we go down a steep cliff. Back at the river, we slay more salmon for food! We cross the river and climb up the slopes, venturing into a dark cave to explore!

In the cave, we mine some coal! A creeper walks towards us and we slay it. As we are looking down into the aquifer below, a zombie attacks us! Ouch! We are a little startled, but it may be a sign that we should leave! We use our water buckets to get to the ledge above.

As we navigate the terrain, the sun sets! After sleeping for the night, we arrive at a small patch of jungle which is just across the river from where we had made our map. We see a patch of melons and harvest some melon slices with our axe!

We find an old growth birch forest, but not the spruce trees that we were looking for! We start heading towards the west with the help of our boat. We collect some sugar canes and slay more salmon! Then, we climb up to the shore!

Several spruce trees covered in snow come into view! Spruce wood is great for building and crafting, as giant spruce trees grow fast, and the wood has a nice reddish-brown texture! We check the current biome and realise that it is a grove, not a taiga! Amazing!

While exploring, we fall into powder snow and we panic! We use our shovel to dig away the snow. Placing down our bucket of water, we scoop up our first powder snow! Nice! We get to the top of an oak tree to admire the view and to end the episode.
