Late-Game Minecraft 388 :: Collecting All Sapling Types
At the grove, we chop down a spruce tree and pick up some powder snow! We head to the jungle and chop down a tall jungle tree to gather some jungle saplings. Then, we go to a nearby dark forest for dark oak saplings! Back at the savannah, we plant all of the sapling types! Wood will no longer be a problem for us!
Exploring the grove, we look around for the borders of the snowy biome and we realise that it is quite small! Oh well. We decide to craft another bucket so that we can pick up more powder snow! Then, we see an isolated spruce tree that we can cut down!
Jumping onto the top of the tree, we dig up the snow layers and destroy the leaves! We are looking to get a few spruce saplings. Finding three saplings, we plant one down and take the other two with us! We begin to make our way back to the savannah hill as the sun sets.
In the forest, we sleep for the night! We continue walking through the grass fields to head home. Back at our chest, we place the powder snow down on the grass and keep a bucket of powdered snow in the chest, just in case the snow melts!
We store away the rest of our items and craft some melon seeds! We plant the spruce sapling on top of the hill, replacing an acacia sapling. At our small plot of farmland, we sow the melon seeds! We climb up the hill again to cook some raw salmon on the campfire.
Our next destination is the jungle! We head down to the river and get into our boat. We slay some salmon and some drowned in the water! We make our way towards the jungle, deciding to go around the land mass that blocks our way.
Finding a short jungle tree with a thick trunk, we decide to cut it down and collect its saplings! We climb up to the top by using some vines. Then, we use our fists to clear the leaves! It is a little slow though. The sun sets and we sleep!
After destroying the entire tree, we collect seven jungle saplings! It is quite a good amount, given that the saplings are quite rare! Our iron axe has almost run out of durability, and we craft another one. We collect some vines and cocoa beans before heading to the dark forest!
Reaching the coast of the forest, we harvest some sugar canes! We begin to cut down the dark oak trees, destroying the leaves for saplings. We cut down two trees in total, which gives us eleven saplings! Great! The sun begins to set, and we slay a few salmon before going to sleep.
The next day, we cross a birch forest to return to the savannah! We nearly walk into a lava stream that flows down from the side of a hill, oops! In a cave that we had explored yesterday, we mine some coal. We cross the river to reach the savannah!
Back at our campsite, we keep away our items before inspecting the saplings that we have collected! We realise that we have access to all six types of wood now! That is going to be great for building. Around the hill, we plant down the new saplings that we have collected today!
Cooking some raw salmon, we head down the hill to cut down some acacia trees! We plant more stalks of sugar canes around our little farm. Storing the spare wood in our barrel, we climb the hill again and see that another acacia tree has grown!
Sowing some wheat seeds at the farm, we replant the acacia trees! We chop down a birch tree before realising that a giant jungle tree has grown. We will have to cut it down tomorrow! The sun is setting, and we end the episode admiring the sunset on the hill.
