The original Lavender Town Theme is infamous for being weird - for being painful or scary to listen to - even causing nausea... so of course I had to try covering it.
As I super big brain classical music nerd analyzed the original theme from Pokemon Red and Green, I realized it totally falls in with noise and classical modern artmusik... so I approached my arrangement with that in mind and got to fill it with oodles of extended technique. I'm a little self conscious that people will find it too weird, but video game music + disturbing sounding extended techniques on violin make me so very happy.
