Pokemon Scarlet and Violet got a new trailer and the little piggy Lechonk has stolen people’s hearts. Chef’s kiss - mwah. We got a look at the new professors which are platform exclusive, we saw some new Pokemon, the main rival, and a confirmation that the game will be multiplayer. Not just in battles, out in the open world. The theme of these games is all about past and future. The legendaries shown in the trailer are symbolic of that with Scarlet’s legendary Koraidon being more primal, and Violet’s legendary Miraidon having a cyber look to it. The professors also hint at this with their outfits, as well as their names - Professor Sada, coming from the word ‘Pasada’ in Spanish, meaning past, and Professor Turo, coming from ‘Futuro’ meaning - you guessed it - future.
