This is Azbolg the Gaming Orc talking to you about the new Legerdemain skill line apart of the new justice system in elder scrolls online update 1.6.

What a cool skill line that allows you to loot and launder goods to make extra money while you wait to get into a dungeon or a group to form for daily pledges. This is my sexy hot vampire wood elf snatching purses, paintings, and doo-dads from unspecting citizens in Elden Root while waiting for a healer to join the group.

I just got to level 7 with it in a few days, and I wanted to share some tips that might help.

1) Do not pick pocket guards. Since all guards are considered hard pick pockets, even at level 7, I have about a 60% chance to pick pocket them making it pretty tough to pick pocket. If I fail they attack me, but citizens will only attack me 20% of the time if I am sloppy. Don't pick pocket guards, less running, more loot, and more skill.

2) If you happen to get spotted by a guard or whatever, just run. Stamina is used, but guards are really hard to kill or invulnerable, so I just run. Dodge roll out of their snares, and break the stuns.

3) Try to avoid murdering citizens. If you get a citizen in his house, and try to pick pocket him, and he turns aggressive you can try to leave if you're real quick.
Otherwise you will end up having to kill him and it will raise your bounty by 800+ gold. We don't want to have a high bounty, so do not kill citizens, unless you really want too get the serial killer achievement. :) So avoid trying to pick pocket citizens in their home, because you won't be able to escape if they turn aggressive, and you will have to kill them.

4) There is about a minute or so delay on picking the same NPCs pocket. So you want to try to build a 'path' in an area. You run the path, and try to hit all the citizens, and stealth back through. The longer you wait, the easier it will get to pick the same pocket.

5) Drinks have been buffed significantly and might be better than food. This helps with stamina regeneration, and continued sneaking.

6) Being a nightblade defiantly helps in this World skill line. Use darkcloak to avoid detection and move by guards unnoticed.

7) Wearing leather armor helps with stealth.

8) If you want, you can do it naked, that way if you die, no repair costs.

9) Also the guards will only take money out of your bag. So if you deposit the gold into the bank, the guards can't take it from you. However, if you die, the bounty will
still stay.

10) Do it while you wait for something; increase stealth stamina reduction is a powerful ability. Each rank reduces it by 10%.

11) Trafficking can increase the amount of items you can do per day. The first rank raises this amount significantly to over 100 items per day, and at level 7 Legerdemain I can blitz through it. And 120 items is gold, plus a ton of experience for the skill line.

12) Try to always wait for the green "ding" to increase your chances on picking. This will significantly increase skill, and allow for more loot.
