Hey humans! This is Azbolg the Gaming Orc and I’m going to do a quick video about how to get and update with the click of a mouse add-ons for ESO or Elder Scrolls Online. Also I will talk about what add-ons I currently use.
The first program we need to download is Minion. This a great application that works for other MMO games like WoW that can alter the generic UI. We go to this website and download the application.

Once I have downloaded the application, and installed it, I open it. The first time I open it it will ask if I want to make an account, it’s free, and this is only if I want to have the minion cloud to remember what my addons were for any games I am using it for. It will also try to detect any games I am using, but afterwards I can click the remember me or do not show me again so I no longer see the pop up.
Each time I load minion, it will see if the add on is up to date.
If not, it will allow me to update that individual add on, or I can in one click, hit update all. So when you have those annoying ESO patches that come out you can just update all, and you no longer have to manually go to specific page where you downloaded that particular add on. They are very fast about updating, and I’ve never had a problem with an update now being out of date.

Now here is the cool part, I can search for specific add ons. For instance, I was searching for no thank you, an add on to turn off guild notifications when someone completes a dungeon, it’s annoying. So I type, no in the search box, and bam, I found it, and in 1 click I installed this.
You need to restart the game if you’re running the game simultaneously, but it’s best not to run it while running and updating the addons from minion.
