NEW! Lego Icons Concorde! (I Can Not Believe This Set Is Only $200!)
In todays build we take off and build the brand new Lego Icons Concorde set #10318, with 2,083 pieces. This was a build that was a definite pass, but not because of the Lego model, but because I never knew the rich history behind the Concorde. I thought it was a concept that never took off, so why would Lego make a model of it? But I couldn’t have been more wrong, after a couple quick YouTube documentaries I learned that this plane beat out Russia and America in the race to make super sonic transport, and flew for 27 years before being grounded. So after all that I learned, I went down to my Lego store and grabbed this set early with my Lego Insiders account. In the unboxing we find 21 bags, a single book, and no stickers. At this point I’m really confused to what Lego deems appropriate for printed pieces when it come to its sets. The build was wonderful, the time went by super easy, and there was no issues at all. In the review we go over the wonderful designs of the set. I show the area that can be opened top to display a sample of the interior as well as a couple of what I believe to be toilets. I demonstrate the function of the landing gear, and explain how the stand fit into the craft. In the scoring of the set, it gets a total of 89 points. But honestly, my feeling for the set are far higher and fonder then an 89. I really love the set, and haven’t been compelled to complete a set like this in a long while. I definitely recommend this set, specially if you are looking for something new. I wasn’t looking for an airplane to build, but Im very happy I did this build.
