NEW! Lego Star Wars Chewbacca! (FEATURING: A Face That Only A Mother Could Love!)
Today we are building the new Lego Star Wars Chewbacca set #75371, with 2,319 pieces. This is a 18+ set, and will cost you $200 US. This was definitely not on the must build list, but instead on the no list. I wasnโt sure if I wanted to review the Concord or Chewbacca or neither. I ended up doing both now. The face of this set is rather off putting, I believe its only a face a mother could love. This set does appear to be in line with builds like the Yoda set #75255, and The Child set #75318, so it only makes sense to add it to any growing collection. In the unboxing we find 17 bags, no doubles, 1 book, and no stickers. There isnโt any grouped building stages in this build, every bags is its own stage. The build went exactly how how imagined, a core brick structure, with plates that have the slopes added to them. You build the legs and feet first, then the left and right legs, then the torso and right arm, then you build the head, then the left arm and cross bow, and to finish you build the plaque. Once built, the set does stand out, and looks rather nice in person. Some say it looks like Bigfoot, but once built, it definitely Chewy. The price is a bit heavy at $200, but you are getting a value with the set at 8 cents per piece average. I definitely recommend the set for any figure builder. I do see this set leading to other buildable figures like Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, or Princess Leia. I would suggest to use points or wait for a sale on the set before buying to help with cost.
