Let's Adjust Waveform Part 2: The philosopher's Starlight.
The game just puts it out there. Not in the demo, though. I hate games that exclude important stuff like that from demos for no reason. (like Vessel, where I skipped the ENTIRE TUTORIAL LEVEL)
Alt title: The Black Hole on Uranus
It hate the game for setting it up. It's just too easy!
Anyway I picked this up for 2 euros (less) on a sale. Yay!
We learn of new mechanics!
Black holes, mirrors, colours and chase sequences.
And Starlight.
Mirrors deflect you in a mirror fashion (duh). However you hit it, you shall leave it. It's nice to 'reset' your current height and such. Hitting them correctly is vital to certain strings of light orbs!
Colours are worth 100 points. However, are only affected by their own colour of multiplier. You can only have one colour-type on, so switching to the other colour for multiplied points is important if high scores are your deal.
Chase sequences: just don't miss the light orbs. Lose them, you lose distances. Get them, you gain distance. Also, don't get hit.
Finally, Black Holes. Inside, it's very dark. Starlight creates a short, almost useless flash to help adjust your course to future waves and light orbs. You can see a bit ahead, and Starlight frequently lies on the strings of orbs anyway.
