After some downtime and a quick jam session, we jar the patient out of his coma. He doesn't know much besides a single clue, which Halsin claims is enough. Through Druid Logic this leads to in a fight against a massive wave of shadows to protect a portal. It seems dubious, but he indeed emerges with Thaniel and has a chance to heal the land of its curse. We do, however, need to find Thaniel's other half, and all signs point to that weird kid we found a few hours ago in the shadowlands. Anybody feel like we could've saved some time, here?

Naturally, all this legwork is thirsty work, so we belly up to the tavern in Reithwin. The proprietor there is another mutant Thorm, and he presents a problem only drinking can solve. Our barbarian solemnly takes on this sacred duty; we shall honor his noble sacrifice for all time.
