I like to code, and I like retro computers. So I guess maybe you also would like to know how people used to program in the 80s, on the old PCs. In this series I will introduce you step by step into the ways of coding for old PCs (8088, 80286) under MS-DOS. You don't have to be a coder yourself, I will really take little baby steps. In the end I want us to have programmed a little game for DOS that runs on real vintage machines.

Coding is done using Turbo C 2.01 in DOSBox for the time being. We might take a look at other languages and also check out real hardware, but I want to keep the requirements to a minimum, so everybody can try it out.
