The Outlander and Berserker are all about the bruises. Lots of them. Hitting a lot is one thing, but the Berserker's Fury is the pinnacle. While the Outlander focusses on 'longer' hits to get the most out of his charge.

Because of this, the Berserker would prefer Greatswords, since swords are faster. Then again, the consistency of axes would benefit him as well.
On the other hand, interrupting with maces would make him overpowered in any 1v1 battle!
