Jon Irenicus is gone, the Tree of Life saved. For a time Terri and her companions rested in Suldanessellar but the reprieve was short-lived. A huge army, led by five powerful bhaalspawn, is sweeping across the realms in a hunt for others of their kind. The nations of the world begin to panic, expelling from their cities all who are even rumoured to possess the dead god’s lineage and while Terri remains safe in the Elven city, that won’t remain the case for long.

The prophecy is reaching its conclusion and, unfortunately for us, we are to take centre stage in its final act. Can we best the army and its generals? Will we stop the prophecy from happening? CAN we stop it from happening and if not, what will happen to us?
