Against all odds, Gordon Freeman survived being at Ground Zero of the resonance cascade. Against all odds, Gordon Freeman managed to make his way through the facility to lambda complex, battling both aliens and marines. Against all odds, Gordon Freeman has not only managed to survive the alien landscape of Xen, he’s also made it right to the front door of the creature keeping the portal open which is being used to invade Earth. Diplomacy is clearly not an option which leaves only one way to close the portal and save our world.

It’s time to face the Nihilanth.

With everything else in Xen having been changed, it’s inevitable that the final boss of the game would also get a major overhaul and my, has it had just that.
