To say that things have suddenly gone very, very wrong on Mars is the understatement of the century. The people we meet have been reduced either to mindless zombies or are now laser-focused on filling us with holes, neither of which is desired. Whatever was going on in the Delta Labs is responsible for this and the… strange burning skull things that we’ve witnessed on more than one occasion but right now we need to focus on the most important thing: survival.

The best change we have at making it through this event is to return to Mars City as fast as possible and regroup with anyone who has survived the initial incident. In a way, us being in such a remote location means that there aren’t many people to attack us but that’s countered by us being poorly armed. Fortunately for us, a series staple is right around the corner and it should serve us well for the rest of the game.
