Be warned, this playthrough has already taken a few dark turns and I expect some more before the game is over.

This is a blind playthrough of the game. As such, please avoid posting puzzle solutions or plot spoilers, so as to not spoil the experience for me or other viewers who haven’t played the game.

Naiee and Naia have come a long way already but they still have so much further to go before they reach their goal. It’d take them forever to navigate the treacherous mountain pass they’ve come across on foot but fortunately for them, there’s another way. A budding scientist and inventor has created a flying thingamajig and needs someone other than him to test it because… reasons. Should it work, Naiee and Naia could fly the thing right to their goal, soaring past all the puzzles and straight to success and victory. Should it not work, well…

...It’s probably best not to think about that.

What I’m really enjoying about this game is how it so seamlessly introduces new mechanics and builds on old ones. Both of these are done in a way that’s very subtle and intuitive, hinting at what you need to do through cutscenes, your surroundings and dialogue between the brothers. The solution to the puzzle is rarely obscured, though some require a bit of thinking outside the box to realise what the game wants of you. That I’ve encountered no moon logic up until this point is even better and though I imagine we still have a fair amount of game left, odds are good that we’ll not see any of that for the remainder.
