With the Avatar safely home from his latest mapping trip, it’s time to give finding a zombie villager another go. The chance of one spawning any time a zombie spawns is low. What’s more, it’s looking increasingly more likely that the zombies which spawn in when you attack other zombies can’t be zombie villagers, though I haven’t looked into that hypothesis deep enough to confirm or deny it. On top of all that, so many enemies spawn in the area around the village-to-be that it’s not long before searching about for a zombie villager becomes a very dangerous prospect.

While I could continue trying the same way I have been already, it’s growing increasingly clear that there are major flaws in my method. What I need is a high vantage point that I can use to both spot a zombie villager from a distance and hide away from other threats that seek to harm me. Fortunately, we’re playing just the right game to make that happen should I want to build it. Worse case scenario, it doesn’t work and I take it apart to use the material for something else.
