Let's Play Command & Conquer (1995) - NOD Campaign - Episode 30
Command & Conquer (1995) was where the RTS elements of real time resource gathering, base building and army management introduced in Dune II really came together, adding box-select control groups and a decent command interface. While Starcraft would later dominate the genre, the C&C franchise gave it a fair run for its money early on.
The first iteration of the C&C universe also pioneered the full utilization of the still fairly new CD-ROM media, adding lots of cutscenes and between-mission graphics. For its time, it was glorious. By today's standards... perhaps not as much. Enter the Remastered edition, which upscales not just the game itself, but also cutscenes and music.
For me, this might just be a memory lane thing, but it's still a good game, a quarter century down the road.
