It's time to finish up the main game, with the final regular level and the final boss. Level 25, Cortex Vortex, is a pretty cool level overall, with good music and a variety of platforming obstacles, though it seriously should have had one more checkpoint after the first stretch. Boss level 5, Crunch Time, is not one of the better final bosses I've seen, but it works. It involves Crunch pressing buttons to activate various elemental effects. After that, naturally, we get the credits sequence, where Uka Uka points out that we'd better get all the gems lest our previous work be for naught (even though at this point, we still have significantly more of the gems than Cortex could get if he collected the rest). So, naturally, we have a few things to do before we're actually finished with the game entirely.
