Let's Play Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex - Part 12: Air Apparent
We finish warp room 4 with level 20, Weathering Heights, and boss level 4, Atmospheric Pressure. Weathering Heights is fairly fun, aside from the stupid slow grates, and it has very nice music. It's kind of thin on the air- and weather-themed gimmicks, though. The boss seems to be commonly disliked, but I actually think that it's one of the more fun and interesting bosses in the game (which is surprising considering it's a flying level and I don't like most vehicle levels). Crunch, in the form of a huge cloud monster, will use four different attacks in sequence, and which attack he's using also determines where he's vulnerable. Honestly, the biggest problem I had fighting this boss was that the controls are inverted for the plane's Y-axis, which is especially weird because I don't remember it being a problem in level 2 or 18. I guess those levels didn't have nearly as much stuff to dodge. With that, though, we've gotten rid of all the elemental masks, and we unlock the final warp room (not counting the secret one), with strangely little fanfare at that.
