Let's Play Mega Man 10 - Extra 1: Folk Ballade
We're starting off 2022 with some special stages in Mega Man 10. Each of these is a reference to one of the Mega Man Killers from the Game Boy Mega Man games: Enker, from Mega Man I, has special stage 1; Punk, from Mega Man III, has special stage 2; and Ballade, from Mega Man IV, has special stage 3. (Quint is skipped entirely.) I'm doing special stage 3 first because it has the easiest boss, and since these stages are only available in time trial mode, they must be done in one try, so they are hard to practice and not to be taken lightly. Ballade's stage has plenty of conveyor belts, pits, and enemies coming out of pits. The boss himself, like I said, is actually fairly easy. He does a series of jumps, leaving a bomb on the ground each time, then he runs in your direction to the opposite wall, turns around and fires a bomb straight horizontally, then repeats the pattern. Upon defeating him, we actually get a special weapon, even though there's no demo screen for it; we get the Ballade Cracker, which is a bomb that can be fired in 7 directions (not straight down).
