In this let's play Cryptark 1.0 gameplay video, we return to this twin-stick shooter for its full release on Steam, followed shortly by PS4.
In Cryptark 1.0 gameplay, you're still trying to fight your way through a fleet of derelict ships, with the eventual goal of boarding the Cryptark and destroying its twin brains. As a roguelike, every run is randomised, with the weapons you find giving you more and more options for an overpowered (and overpriced) loadout! Dying isn't necessarily fatal, but it'll cost you money, and if you fall below zero your run is over.
We playthrough one run in this let's play Cryptark 1.0 gameplay video, attempting to get as many artefacts as possible (for unlocking future characters and getting achievements), and getting to the Cryptark itself despite a less than 100% record with the previous ships - but can we defeat the Cryptark with our remote mine-based loadout?
