Once again, I apologize for the volume. Should be fixed in future parts.

We continue through the cave and kill a starfish (no not the one in Umi's hair). Our first town has our very first (and only) sidequest.

Throughout the map, there are caves that have no purpose besides getting some extra exp, gold, and a decent item or two. The final chest is usually guarded by a monster. This first cave is different as its only purpose is saving the dog which does provide a reward if you do it. But, this difference does make the cave useless in the other game modes which I will point out in a different playthrough.
