As mentioned in the previous description, this fight is mostly doable if you just blitz Elmdor and not bother stealing his gear. Stealing his gear on the other hand, I have no real good way of doing it.
I haven't really said much about he assassins. They are still the same as before with their 100% hit chance Petrify, Charm, and Death abilities. Their Counter Ability seems to be randomized so you can manipulate that with reloading your save if you are having trouble with things like MP Switch or Hamedo.
The catch in this fight though is if you kill an assassin, they come back as an Ultima Demon. Good news, this resets their CT to zero so you have time to prepare and it is a good way to prevent an assassin from taking an action for a bit. Bad news, they are demons that know Ultima spells (though you can try learning it for Ramza, good luck on that).
The assassins are not really that difficult as they do not have much health and the Ultima Demons are vulnerable to Holy. Elmdor alone is enough to take on the entire party with his Draw Out skills unfortunately.
