Not much to say about this final boss. It looks cool but it only has four moves in total (six if you count the different strafes across the screen as separate moves).

I loved this game when I was a kid but now the issues are alot more apparent. The charge system was way too slow and dragged combats out. This was made even worse when those charged moves could miss or you fight monsters can only be hurt with charged moves. The hit detection for alot of attacks were awful and never in your favor. Monster attacks were way too friendly towards the monsters. The camera scrolled only when you were near the edge of the screen making it easy for monsters to just hit you before you can even see them. Alot of issues.

But the game still has its charm and many of these issues (not all of them) were corrected in Secret of Mana 2 along with adding more RPG mechanics. Unfortunately that game was never released cept as a rom.

Anywho, sorry I was not as into this game as the other one. Guess Touhou RPGs spoiled me a bit. See ya at the next LP!
