Let's Play Dead Space 2 Ep.05 As Above, So Below
28On the fifth episode of Let's Play Dead Space 2, we're close to meeting up with Daina in the Church, but after the main path through the Basilica was destroyed we've been forced to take a detour through the Crypt. It isn't much of a surprise when some of the frozen Uni corpses turn out to have been thawed enough to transform and bust out when we pass, considered the reason they're stored here. After shutting down the gravity system for moving caskets around, we coast up the zero-g shaft to reach the main Basilica chamber. The Tripod responsible for destroying the door is still here, but when we drive it off it calls for reinforcements from the Church Pack. Riding an elevator up to the luxurious top of the building, Isaac finally comes face to face with Daina, but *gasp* it turns out she was a Unitologist! Thankfully, her betrayal is short-lived when she's cut down by the EarthGov gunship and Isaac slides down a maintenance hatch. Unfortunately, this drops us right in front of a massive Necromorph that chases Isaac right up until both are sucked out a window and right into the gunship.
