Let's Play Divinity Original Sin 2 | Part 43: How Do You Pronounce Aeteran?
Out of the Blackpits and into… More fire. It’s Rock Paper Shotgun, back again with more Let’s Play Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition. Matthew and Alice are still in the Ancient Temple, on the hunt for Ryker’s Tablet. Remember that quest? A Generous Offer? Yeah, same. Before we get into it though, thanks to Logitech G and the G432 7.1 Surround Sound gaming headset for sponsoring this video. Check out the tech behind the G432 over on the Logitech G site: http://bit.ly/2FkTkbi
This week, Matthew has kindly taken a couple of hours out of his holiday to record - not film, no face cams, sorry - an episode for us. Aren’t we lucky? He’s so kind. In this episode we go up against some silent watchers, a vampiric voidowken, some armoured voidlings, and then we accidentally pick a fight with Magister Gremory (no, that’s not a spelling mistake). We keep seeing the word Aeteran pop up but we have no idea what it means. Please help.
We then continue exploring the Ancient Temple, and discover some more of Fane’s lore. He’s got a whole lotta history, hasn’t he. We also go through a load of our inventory and do a massive sort out, inventory nerds: check this one out. Hotbar nerds: look away. I’m sorry. We get into another fight with some more magisters and some possessed members of the Black Ring. Lohse manages to fix an oil barrel machine and Matthew gets confused by what colour an Ember is.
As always we'd like to thank everyone who tunes in weekly for these Divinity Original Sin 2 adventures and has helped us along the way. Your Divinity Original Sin 2 tips and tricks always prove useful, helping us pick interesting quests and slice through the battles with the best abilities and weapons.
Please do let us know how we should approach this Ancient Temple area, are we on the right track for A Generous Offer? Are we going in over our heads or do you think we’ll be ok? We don't want to consult a Reapers Coast guide and spoil the surprises for ourselves, but will take your pointers.
We've found all your feedback in the comments really useful so please do keep your Divinity: Original Sin 2 tips coming - please share with us the secrets of smart combat. If anyone else is starting the game, do watch over this Let's Play series for hundreds of Fort Joy tips and an ever growing Reapers Coast guide. Lots of good stuff there.
If you enjoy this episode of Let's Play Divinity why not go back and watch the previous episodes (it makes more sense if you start from the beginning) and subscribe to the channel so you don't miss any of them going forwards. We're having a great time playing Larian's incredible RPG and would love you to join us for more Let's Play Divinity Original Sin 2. Thanks for watching!
