Let's Play Divinity: Original Sin 2 | Part 63: Proving Ground
In this week's let's play Divinity: Original Sin 2 it's time for the Proving Ground, Divinity 2's toughest arena yet. Driftwood and Fort Joy? Just a warm up act for the Great Guardian, a giant robotic beast with a small army of robot helpers. Based on our Rock Paper Shotgun Divinity Original Sin 2 adventure so far, this probably won't end well...
While the Arena of the One beckons to us, we want to tidy up some quests in this week's Divinity Original Sin II let's play. There are some ghostly teachers offering stat increases and decreases, which leads to some dumb decisions. Then we are odd to the Proving Ground quest where a ghost bird - don't ask - wants to see us get murdered by a massive automaton called The Great Guardian. We have a cunning plan, but can we enact it?
Also this week: we try to put the finishing touches to the Swornbreaker, a weapon that everyone keeps blathering on about, but we're not even sure if we can use it. If you've been looking for Divinity Swornbreaker pieces, this video shows where the final bits can be collected - we found one in the Sallow Man's war room (check out episode 62 for that) and collected the instructions to build it when in Driftwood. Is Swornbreaker Divinity 2's best weapon? It better be the amount of hoops we're jumping through.
If you are new to Rock Paper Shotgun Divinity Original Sin 2 let's play then you've got a fair chunk to catch up on. We have battled through The Nameless Isle - we are racing to become the Divine, and are now on the final straight: in the Academy and trying to get into the Arena of the one. If you've got a spare 60 hours we recommend popping back to episode 1 and following it from the start. Our Divinity Original Sin 2 skills are better now then they were then - you might even learn something as we go along. I wouldn't call it a Divinity Original Sin 2 walkthrough, but you'll definitely get some excellent Divinity Original Sin 2 tips.
Of course, thanks again to the regular viewers who make this Let's Play such a treat to put together. We wouldn't have made it this far without your advice and forgiveness.
