Let's Play Doom 64 #22: The End is in Sight [Strobe Warning]
Not many levels remain before we get to the demon responsible for resurrecting its kind, but the final stretch is often the hardest. Here is where the enemies are the most numerous, the traps most devious. Fortunately, it's also where the ammunition is the most plentiful, allowing us plenty of opportunities to fire missiles left and right at the many, many demons trying in vain to stop our stready progress forward.
Still, it would be wise not to let myself get too overconfident. The game still has a few cunning tricks left up its sleeve and even when we're done with the main story, we're not 'done' with the game. There are secrets yet to uncover, bonus levels to conquer and even the new additions added to connect the plot of this game to Doom 2016.
...There's a part of a me that really wishes they'd of named Doom 2016 something different so that you didn't have confusion as to what game you're talking about when you say Doom. Doom 4 would have been much better in my opinion, but it is what it is.
